Donate Seedballs
SeedBalls Kenya is partnering with a select few organisations that are active in conservation programs within Kenya. SeedBalls can be purchased here and we will deliver your seedballs, of the appropriate species mix, to the recipient of your choice. These organisations are eager to receive your donated seedballs and have committed with us to distribute them within their areas of activity that have the greatest need for reforestation.

Smoking Wood Chips
Cut into an easy to use format, these sticks are made from seasonal prunings from fruit trees at Mlango Organic Farm, or our very own African Olive from the Cookswell Forest. 4 to 5 pieces will smoke for about an hour, and there is no need to soak prior to using.
How to use:
Place a small handful of Cookswell Smoking Wood in the removeable tray that catches the ashes below the liner. When hot coals fall through the holes, they will slowly smolder the wood to produce high-quality smoke for meats, veggies and more! Alternatively and for more smoke production, place a few sticks directly onto the coals in the oven, and cover with a bit of ash.
Remember to keep your oven clean, as the smoke buildup from each use will impart a smoky flavor to the other dishes that you prepare.

1: Think like a tree: where would you like to grow up? Near a bit of water, free from invasive weeds and a great view of the sun

Have fun dispersing your seedballs! A collaboration between wonderful people from all over Africa.
The rubber comes from old gaskets from the Zambian copper mines, the leather pouch is made from off-cuts from Bata Shoes, Limuru, the slingshots are made by specialized slingshot makers in Sultan Hamud.
Beaded: one of a kind fancy slingshots that are hand beaded by some expert Maasai ladies near Amboseli. Assorted colors available.
Recycled Plastic: in collaboration with the team at Plastiki Rafiki, these unique slingshots are made from upcyled plastic that has been melted down and molded into handles for extra strength.
